one morning while i was in seattle i got up early, got ready, and headed to walnut and had an iced vanilla carmel coffee and a warmed chocolate croissant. soooo delicious!! if i could have one breakfast for a long time (not forever, because then it would get boring…) that combination would be it. and from walnut, of course. after the meeting at walnut i found myself sitting there at the window seat watching the dog walkers, and the runners, and the retired couples who were out enjoying the surprisingly not rainy morning. & before i knew it twenty minutes went by of me just watching. and taking in the happiness everyone was expressing. eventually i thought to myself, "why am i just watching everyone go on an adventure?!" so i got up, got my camera, formatted my cf card, and went out and explored the little town that i've known for years. i kept the car at walnut, and just walked, and took pictures, and went in the little shops, and ended up at the beach. after about an hour of roaming around i went back home and played with my parents' dog chuck (who is secretly my dog). and i ended my mini adventure with getting into sweats, and taking a nice nap on my parents big super comfy red sofa. :)
i think we all need days like this. ones where we can just explore a little, and think a lot, and relax.

this is what my adventure looked like... more or less...
